Cook Islands 3 Dollars Banknote, 1987

The Cook Islands 3 Dollars with a pick number P-3a was issued by the Government of the Cook Islands in 1987 primarily to raise income from numismatic sales. The banknotes obverse features the naked Ina riding on a shark amidst ocean waves with a coconut in her hands. The banknotes reverse depicts a pukapuka fishing canoe, native designs, and a carved statue of the god of Te-Rongo with penis. The banknote bears no security threads and no watermarks but it carries the signature of the Minister of Finance Thomas Davis. The note is 150 x 75 mm and is predominantly in green. This particular Cook Islands 3 Dollar banknote is in uncirculated condition.

Costa Rica 5 Colones Banknote, 1990

This uncirculated 5 Costa Rican colon banknote is part of the Costa Rican series of banknotes that integrated more color and stronger security features to its banknotes. This note is signed by Central Bank of Costa Rica Board of Directors President Hernan Garron Salazar and Bank Manager Claudio A. Volio Guardia. Its obverse side contains two Guarianthe skinneri orchidsthe national flower of Costa Rica, and Rafael Anselmo Jose Yglesias Castro, the 16th president of Costa Rica from 1894 to 1902. Its reverse side depicts Aleardo Villas 1897 painting Allegory of Coffee and Bananas found in the Teatro Nacional. Security features of the note are a solid security thread and a BCCR CINCO 5 watermark. The note is 156 mm long and 67 mm wide.

Beautiful banknote Cuba - 1 Peso 1967

Banknote of 1 Peso representing José Martí one of the men more glorified by the cuban people, which regard it as the largest martyr and apostle of the fight for independence. José Martí was born in Havana on January 20th, 1853. Quickly it engaged in the fight anticoloniale, at fifteen years, already, it founded a nationalist newspaper, at 16 years it was stopped for treason and was condemned to six years of forced labors. Released six months later and assigned with residence, it was off-set in Spain during four years. Its exile continued in France, England and in Mexico. An amnesty of the political prisoners enables him to return to Cuba, where it was stopped and returned again to Spain.

Spain 200 Pesetas Banknote, 1980

The Spain 200 Peseta banknote was released in 1980 by the Bank of Spain. The banknotes obverse features a portrait of novelist Leopoldo Garcia-Alas y Urena and the coat of arms of Spain. The reverse of the note depicts El Carbayon oak tree in Oviedo, cross, and a handwritten fragment of Clarins novel titled La Regenta. The 120 x 65 mm paper bill has a green solid security thread and a watermark that reflects the head of Leopoldo Alas. The banknote bears the signatures of Rendueles, Palazuelo, and Urdiola. This particular Spain 200 Peseta banknote has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
