Philippine Presidential Elections for 2022 became quite loud nowadays because of former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s filing of his Certificate of Candidacy last October, 2021. His filing became a sensational event since it is related to the history of his father, President Ferdinand Marcos's 20 years regime from 1965 to 1986.
There were a lot of both positive and negative sides of the stories and all are all over the Internet. From search engines to social media sites. Like everything!!
Personally, not that I am not interested in what both sides of the social media is saying or spreading, but I am more interested in what he can do for the country.
As a Filipino citizen, it is part of my right to choose who will lead us for the betterment of our society. As a commoner, I was faced with many different challenges living in the country. My father would always watch news and there were like lots of news regarding price hikes, crime rates, power and water supply issues, environmental and global warming, decrease in farmlands which led to hunger and poverty, corruption and politics, education issues, transportation, building and infrastructure issues, national security, and many more. I thought that, I guess facing these kinds of issues is quite normal and it happens in every country all over the world. Sad but true enough.
When did it all started?
We are probably wondering as to when did it all started. Few years back, the Marcos's family was popular in I guess I can call it in a negative way like 70% (just my personal percentage estimate) because of the history we already know. And then one day, there was a sudden rise in the positive popularity. I am thinking it is now at 80% (again my estimate only).

In my case, it might have started 8 years ago when Imelda Marcos had an interview with Mel Tiangco about the the gold controversy. This is just my theory though, it might have started more than 8 years ago. But I cannot help but think that every information and videos we can watch and are now flooding in YouTube about Marcos Gold and the truth about Martial Law, conspiracies, previous footages of late President Marcos's international participations, interviews, and conferences, gave rise to the family's positive popularity.
The Sensational Event: Former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Certificate of Candidacy for Presidential Elections 2022
The rise in the family's positive popularity became an opportunity for Former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s to file his COC for Presidential Elections 2022. Might be either it is because of propaganda or people's united request for him to run as a President of the Philippines.
Truth is, it doesn't matter. I feel that it does not matter to our former Senator as well. I feel that he sees the need and he knows he has the power to fill the need. That is also what we need. Someone who can see the need and have the power to fill the need.
So, what would matter?
What does he intend to do to bring back the lost Pride of the Filipino people? (I meant not the other kind of pride but as a Filipino) Bringing back the lost pride of the Filipino people means bringing everything back to the Filipino. I meant not the controversial ill-gotten wealth or whatever. Personally, I am not interested in it. What I am interested in are his . . .
PLANS AND PLATFORMS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY AND THE FILIPINO PEOPLE
I may not have enough information about his plans and platforms yet but I am interested to know more and study them.
BTW, Presidential Aspirant Ferdinand Marcos's Jr. has my vote. I will vote for him, not because I like him or what the propaganda are saying or the majority or whatever, I do not know him personally and neither does he know me, but because I have faith that he is what our country needs.
*Stay tuned!! I will be talking about his platforms on my next latestENC since I am still doing my research.
